Adrienne Lipson was born in 1991 in London, Ontario, Canada. She began dancing under the tutelage of Jennifer Swan and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Ryerson University in Toronto. There she performed with Typecast Dance Company and Rock Bottom Movement. In 2013 Adrienne graduated and moved to Chicago, USA to join Hubbard Street 2, and in 2016 was promoted to join the main company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. There she performed works by artists such as Nacho Duato, William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, and Crystal Pite, amongst others. In Chicago, Adrienne also worked with choreographer Robyn Mineko Williams on the creation of ‘Undercover Episodes’ and presented her own choreographic work with FLOCK and Hubbard Street’s Inside/Out Choreographic Workshop. In 2020 Adrienne moved to Tel Aviv to join Batsheva – The Young Ensemble and in 2021 joined Batsheva Dance Company, where she currently dances. Adrienne was certified as a gaga teacher in January 2024.
