Adi Zlatin

Adi was born in 1983 in Jerusalem. She started dancing at age 6 with the late Professor Hassia Levy-Agron at the Jerusalem Conservatory. She joined the Hora Jerusalem troupe at age 12 and graduated from the high school of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

In 2001 Adi joined the Batsheva Ensemble, and in 2004, she was promoted to Batsheva Dance Company. As a dancer in the troupe, she participated in many creative processes with Ohad Naharin, the company’s current house choreographer, and had the privilege of working with choreographer Sharon Eyal in many new creations. Adi was awarded a scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and was the recipient of the Yair Shapira Award in 2012.

Adi left Batsheva Dance Company in 2019 and subsequently worked with Ella Rothschild on her creation Pigulim.

Adi continues to take part in the movement research of Ohad Naharin as a certified teacher for Gaga, and she teaches in Israel and around the world. In 2021, she joined the Batsheva school team as its coordinator of Gaga and repertory.
