Doron Perk is a choreographer, dancer, educator, and artistic director. He studied at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance (2003-8) and danced in the Croatian National Ballet in Split (2008-10), Compañía Nacional de Danza in Madrid (2010-13), the Batsheva Ensemble in Tel Aviv (2013-15), and ZviDance in New York City (2016-2022).
Doron is a certified Gaga movement teacher, Super Chill Ballet founder, and an adjunct professor at NYU Tisch. In 2022, Doron started More Fish Dance Company to focus on his choreography and community. Other achievements include being listed in Dance Magazine’s “Best Performers of 2016” and a Bessie Award nomination in 2022. His first evening-length work for More Fish, A Day at the Lake, will be presented at Dixon Place in New York City in December 2024.
