Hadar Katz

Hadar was born in 1984 in Herzliya. She started to dance jazz and hip hop at age 14. She then joined her high school’s dance department and began to study ballet and modern dance techniques. After completing her army service in the field of human resources as part of the intelligence division, she moved to the north of Israel. There she began her professional training in the dance workshop at Kibbutz Ga’aton, under the management of and Einav Levy and Yehudit Arnon. Upon graduation, she joined the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company 2.

In 2009, Hadar moved to Tel Aviv and joined Mayumana, where she was exposed to the study of music and rhythm, vocal development, and acting. The following year, she focused on studying acting through various workshops in the fundamentals of acting, improvisation, and acting for the camera at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio.

In 2011, Hadar participated in the Batsheva excellence project under the direction of Hillel Kogan, and in 2012, she graduated from the first Gaga Teacher Training Program.

Hadar is a certified jazz, hip hop, Pilates, and Gaga teacher. She currently teaches hip hop and Gaga.
