Lior Zohar was born in Israel in 1988 and grew up in Jerusalem. At the age of 9, he started dancing in Hora Jerusalem dance group and the Jerusalem tap dance group. Lior graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in 2006. As a student he received three scholarships for excellence in dance from the America Israel Cultural Foundation.
In 2006 Lior joined the Batsheva Ensemble and danced there for three years. He began teaching Gaga lessons to the ensemble in 2007. In 2010 he joined the Kamuyot project of Riksteatern in Sweden and performed the piece while teaching Gaga classes across Sweden.
In 2014, Lior graduated from the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Tel Aviv. Lior is an actor and currently acts in various plays in the Jerusalem Psik Theater and Orna Porat Theater.
