Sharon Dvir

Sharon was born in 1981 and lives in Jerusalem. She studied in the dance department of the Reut Junior High School of the Arts in Haifa and then in Chaya Tzur’s contemporary dance school. After completing her army service, Sharon participated in the workshop to certify dancers in Haifa, and in this framework, she created the work Hydra, which was performed in the Machol Acher festival.

Sharon received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the Hebrew University, and after completing her studies, she returned to the world of dance. She has performed in Aviv Eveguy’s Dimona and Moran Yuval’s Yam-Yabasha. In 2007, she was certified as a Pilates mat and apparatus instructor, and she has since continued to work in this field.

Sharon became certified as a Gaga teacher after studying in the Gaga Teacher Training Program from 2011-2012. She was one of the creative partners in the work hello love, which premiered in December 2012 in Tanzhaus Zurich.
