She holds a BA in Fine Arts with a major in Dance and a professional degree in Dance Education from the University of Chile, as well as an MA in Contemporary Dance from the London Contemporary Dance School.
With over 18 years of teaching experience, Stephanie has worked with students of all ages and levels. She has taught contemporary dance, ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, and, in recent years, Gaga—in various settings from formal institutions to community-based projects.
She lived in the UK for six years, teaching in the Warwickshire area and leading classes for Birmingham Dance Network and DanceXchange Birmingham (now FABRIC), while also collaborating with artists across the West Midlands.
In 2021, after completing her Gaga teacher training, Stephanie moved to southern Chile and co-founded “RARA: Festival de Danza Contemporánea en Pucón”, an annual event promoting artistic exchange and contributing to the decentralization of contemporary dance. RARA has received multiple rounds of public funding, and Stephanie remains actively involved in its ongoing production.
While in Chile, she also worked as one of the choreographers for Viceversos, a transdisciplinary performing arts collective, and taught Gaga and other dance classes in several cities across the country.
Since relocating to Costa Rica in 2025, Stephanie continues to work as an independent artist, sharing her passion for contemporary dance and Gaga.
