Yael Ben Ezer was born in 1995 in Tel Aviv.
Yael studied at the Tel Aviv School of the Arts and the dance department at Alon High School. She danced with Batsheva – the Young Ensemble starting in 2013 and with the Batsheva Dance Company from 2016 to 2024.
She was awarded the Yair Shapira Prize for Dancers in 2022.
As a choreographer, her works have been presented as part of “Batsheva Dancers Create” evenings and in other theaters across Israel. She participated in the “Dance is Culture” (Israel-Italy) project and, in 2023, was invited to a residency at Orsolina28 Dance Village in Italy. Some of her poems have been published in the contemporary literary magazine Granta.
Yael is a Gaga teacher, creator, and independent dancer.
She has been teaching Gaga since 2018.
